The atmosphere at the Ballarat Seniors Expo on Wednesday 22 October was absolutely fantastic! The new Ballarat Showgrounds and Events Centre proved to be a wonderful venue, buzzing with live music, dancing, and plenty of delicious food. (I’m still thinking about the world’s best scones from the amazing CWA ladies, and of course I’m never going to say no to a sausage sizzle!)

It was a pleasure meeting so many locals and chatting about hearing health at the Southern Hearing Care stall. I also enjoyed connecting with other stallholders and learning more about the services they provide our community. Highlights included speaking with the Ballarat Men’s Shed about their services, and Grampians Health, who provide at-home support which aligns beautifully with the mobile services I offer.

All in all, it was a brilliant day. I’m already looking forward to next year’s expo!
